As some of you may know, Orlando Antigua recently visited one of Madison Central's practices to get a look at Dominique Hawkins. This weekend, Hawkins led Madison Central past Lexington Catholic to win the 11th Region title. Afterwards, the Kentucky Mr. Basketball candidate talked a little bit with Scott Anderson for theroadtorupp.com about winning the 11th Region and also about his recruitment process. Hawkins says in the interview that (along with Kentucky) WKU, Morehead State, Louisville, Tennessee, Purdue, Alabama, Tennessee Tech and Murray State have been involved in his recruitment. Speaking of Madison Central and their 11th Region title, all of the state's representatives in next week's KHSAA Sweet 16 have now been determined after Holmes edged out Covington Catholic in the 9th region final tonight, 62-60, for the final spot. Here is the first bracket you'll view anywhere on the internet of next week's events at Rupp, unless you see it posted somewhere else sooner:   KHSAAbracket   It will be a very busy week in Rupp Arena, especially on Saturday when the Cats will take on Florida at noon and the state semifinal matchups follow at 7:30 and 9:00 that evening. The State Championship Game is set for 2:00 on Sunday. For Wednesday and Thursday's first round game times, click here.
