It's no secret that Gregg Doyel has a special place in the big collective heart of the Kentucky Sports writers*. And though Matt Jones has always had a weakness for buff guys with mohawks, it mostly has to do with the way he dares to go big. He's the keyboarded version of Antoine Walker, who famously only takes threes because there "ain't no fours". Today, he captures the excitement surrounding the basketball Cats at the moment and
wonders how great a story an undefeated season would be for college basketball. It's a journey we've all thought about in the back of our minds and threatened our children to pray about every night, but Gregg Doyel is man enough to dream his dream in public. Well done, Gregg.
*It should be noted that from here on out, the new writers will be referred to as prospects. It's not that I don't like them. I just like hazing more
