A big part of last night's open practice took place before the ESPNU cameras even came on.
Each of UK's players were measured and went through athletic testing like many will at the NBA Combine next summer. Draft Express was in the house and took diligent notes, as Draft Express does, and I thought I'd pass some of those notes along, starting with the players' measurements:

Fox's 3.8% body fat is ridiculous to me, especially since he's gained 14 lbs. since he was measured at the Nike Hoop Summit in April. Also of note: Sacha Killeya-Jones' measurements. A 9'2" standing reach with a 7'2" wingspan and a 37" vertical. He may take time to develop, but SKJ has a frame that makes scouts drool.
You can see
all of the athletic testing stats and Draft Express' notes on each player here, but the comments about Dominique Hawkins and Mychal Mulder also stood out to me.
"
Dominique Hawkins remains one of the most freakish athletes in all of college basketball, and Mychal Mulder's numbers are simply staggering as well. Mulder's lane agility time ranks among the best ever recorded while Hawkins's 44.5 in maximum vertical leap puts him on par with the best marks ever posted at the NBA Draft Combine."
