Drake Jackson confirms Kentucky is his leader

Jackson, a Versailles native, is considered the number one center in the country in the 2016 class, and the 56th player overall by 247 Sports Composite. The 6'2" 288 lbs. Jackson has offers and interest from all the big guys, including Alabama, Ohio State, and Tennessee, but lists one school as his leader: Kentucky. "They are my leader. I can't hide it," Jackson told the Courier Journal's Steve Jones last week. "I'm not going to commit next week or anything, but they are (in front). They've shown a lot of interest, and I've shown a lot of interest. The news isn't terribly surprising, as Jackson has been dropping some hints, like wearing a UK Football shirt on the first day of school at Woodford County. Jackson said he was "blown away" when he got his offer from UK last November, and thinks he'll make an early decision, possibly as soon as January. Louisville has shown some interest too, and Jackson was at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Monday night to see the Cards beat Miami. As DeAndre Liggins would say, Drake, don't do it!
