2014 commits Darryl Long and Drew Barker Drew Barker is working to get his fellow UK commits to Lexington for a group visit during the second weekend of June. Barker tweeted from the UK 2014 Class account that they'll all be in Lexington on June 6. Four-star running back Mikel Horton said he plans to stay for an entire week. Enough can't be said about this early bonding between Barker and the other seven current commits. These guys, being early commits, will feel pressure from other programs throughout the next nine months to consider re-opening their recruitment and going elsewhere. Football commitments aren't solid until National Signing Day, unfortunately. But with Barker leading the pack to keep relationships strong among the classmates and the program, fans will have little to worry about leading up to signing day. It's good to see all these guys becoming best friends so quickly. This class is going to be special.
