Early Wednesday Notes....

pb_littlebud1224z.jpeg Couple of things really quick.... (1) I am hearing some rumors that Bud Mackey, after attending the Elite Camp last weekend, may have been back on campus this past weekend. On one level, having Mackey on campus isnt a huge deal since he lives so close. But it is just more info on the continued buzz that is around Scott County that he may look again at the Cats. I still ultimately would be surprised if he backs out on IU, because of his affinity for Coach Kelvin Sampson (or as Hubby famously called him "Samuel Calvinson"). But you just never know. (2) Speaking of never know.....Reggie Theus has left New Mexico State for the Sacramento Kings. What will happen to star recruit Herb Pope? Interesting to watch. (3) Kansas just picked up a shooting guard for the Class of 2008. That is good news for folks who want to see star guard Willie Warren at Kentucky instead of Lawrence. (4) The Dicky Lyons Jr video is epic.... (5) I could write a post making fun of this John Clay piece for being lame, but that wouldnt be nice. I am a bit frustrated as I thought the news that an SEC TV Network was coming would be a great Mosley/Intern column as they could predict the shows for the upcoming station. And to Clay's credit, he realized the comedic gold in the premise. However the execution.....well, Rob says I need to be nice, so I will call it the equivalent to a Yakov Smirnov show in Branson, Missouri. How is that Rob? (6) Thanks for all the support in the blogger contest. I am not sure what it turned into, but now it seems like a contest as to who can cheat the most. Be kind to the ladies on the website, as they had nothing to do with it. If you wanna go after our opponents, that is fair game, but the ladies put in a lot of work and should be praised, not scorned. Had it been legit, we all know the Big Blue Nation would have taken over..... More to come.....Rich Brooks tomorrow.....Chris Tomlin on the air today.....
