Eric Bledsoe's Big Night

by:Will Lentz11/16/10

The Clippers may not be very good this year (and with only one win and eleven losses, they aren’t,) but they can be fun to watch.  Especially if you have a rooting interesting in the young point guard from Kentucky.  Bledsoe may not have turned in the triple double that John Wall did a week or so ago, but he’s definitely filling the stat sheet.  Last night Eric had 15 points, 8 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals, 0 fouls and only 4 turnovers.  Not bad for someone we thought might take some time adjusting to the league.

The Clippers are struggling right now, but two of their key players (Bledsoe and Griffin) are only 11 games into their NBA career.  With Eric Gordon a bit more experienced but still relatively fresh – there is no where to go but up.  With these three the team might not be great, but it’s a young core that will have them in the playoffs in a couple years – and if they can get some more talent down low watch out, they could be good.
