The "when" aspect of college football season remains up in the air, but when the time comes, optimism is high around the Kentucky football program and the Big Blue Nation that the Wildcats will put together yet another special year in Lexington. But what do national pundits and outlets think about Kentucky and their chances in the SEC East? Last week, the disrespect began when the SEC Network posted an entire montage of UK quarterback Terry Wilson getting sacked over an over again for a few laughs on Twitter, followed by CBS Sports college football analyst Barrett Sallee predicting a six-win season for the Wildcats, including just two wins in the SEC. Today, ESPN released their own projections for the 2020 football season, with Kentucky expected to win seven games on the year and finish third in the SEC East. Ahead of the Wildcats? Georgia, who is projected to win 10.2 games, followed by Florida, who is expected to win 9.7 games. After Kentucky, Tennessee came in at No. 4, followed by Missouri at No. 5, South Carolina at No. 6, and Vanderbilt dead last at No. 7. Over in the SEC West, Alabama is projected to finish first, followed by LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Mississippi State.
