ESPN's new bowl projections have Kentucky going to a familiar place

Kentucky’s bowl chances look infinitely better after the Florida win, and the latest projections from ESPN have the Cats going to a familiar spot.

Both Kyle Bonagura and Mitch Sherman predict Kentucky will be back in the Music City Bowl on December 28, where they’ll face either the Miami Hurricanes or the Georgia Tech Triple Option Yellow Jackets. I live in Nashville and I don’t even really want that. After last year’s disaster, no thanks.

Over at CBS Sports, Jerry Palm has the Cats playing Notre Dame in the Belk Bowl on December 29, setting up a potential conflict with the basketball team’s game vs. Louisville. Tip time for that game hasn’t been set, but if possible, that’s a scenario I’m sure Kentucky would like to avoid.

Besides, Kentucky will be in a way better bowl than that after going to the SEC Championship, right? #LetMeDream
