Sophomore Rhyne Howard spoiled the seniors night, dropping a team-high 25 points on 8-14 shooting, including a 4-6 mark from three to go along with three rebounds and two assists. Jaida Roper led the five seniors with 14 points on a perfect 11-11 clip from the free-throw line in addition to her five rebounds and five assists. Fellow seniors Sabrina Haines and Ogechi Anyagaligbo also hit double-digits in scoring, with the former going for 15 points, four rebounds, and three assists while the latter posted 10 rebounds and four assists. Rounding out the seniors were Amanda Paschal, who contributed four points and four assists, and Nae Nae Cole, who appeared in five minutes for the 'Cats. Kentucky shot 44.4 percent from both the floor (28-63) and three (12-27) on 20 assisted buckets. UK won the turnover battle, forcing Georgia into 15 miscues compared to just 10 for the 'Cats. Kentucky also shot 20-21 from the charity stripe. I'll be back shortly with a full game recap, but in the meantime, check out the final box score below.
