RUMOR that I havent personally been able to verify, but that comes from a good source that we have used before. A source tells me that former Rick Pitino and Kentucky strength coach
Rock Oliver is returning to Kentucky, but this time to work with the Football team. According to the source, Oliver, who has been with the Bengals and Florida in recent years, will be brought on by Joker Phillips to be the new strength coach for the football team, replacing Mark Hill, who will be put in a different role according to the source. Oliver famously put the Unforgettables and the early Pitino teams through the hardest strength coaching imaginable and the Richie Farmers of the world swear by the guy.
Again, I havent personally confirmed it, but if the source is correct and it is true, I LOVE the hire by Joker.
