Could an additional frontcourt option open up for Kentucky in the class of 2019? If you ask Corey Evans of Rivals.com, it’s likely.

In a report released this morning, Evans announced 2020 five-star power forward Isaiah Todd is “investigating” a jump to the class of 2019.

“Sources have told Rivals.com that an even more drastic change could be coming as Todd and his family are investigating the proper avenues for a reclassification into the 2019 class and thus, a college enrollment this fall,” he said.

In fact, Todd may head to Lexington this weekend on a visit for Kentucky’s matchup with Kansas on Saturday evening.

“Todd has already taken visits to Maryland, Oklahoma State and UNC in recent months but there could be a new entrant in the sweepstakes for the talented forward,” he said. “While plans are still being arranged, Todd could visit Kentucky this weekend as the Wildcats will host Kansas for what should be a tremendous environment for UK in potentially hosting the Baltimore native.”

Sources told KSR earlier in the week that Kentucky is putting together a special list of visitors for the Kansas game, with several names not currently released to the public. Though it’s not a certainty as of yet, I can confirm Todd is one of the recruits the school is trying to get to campus this weekend.
