[caption id="attachment_226065" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports[/caption] Florida has announced that seven of their players will be suspended for the season opener against Michigan, those players are Antonio Callaway, James Houston, Kadeem Telfort, Kevionnis Davis, Jordan Smith, Richard Desir-Jones, and Ventrell Miller. Head Coach Jim McElwain issued a brief statement on the suspensions: "We have a small group of players that have made some choices that are extremely disappointing. Action has been taken - they have missed some practice and will miss the Michigan game. We will use this as a learning opportunity and we will have some players step up as we move forward."  Callaway has been Florida's best offensive weapon the past two seasons leading the team in receiving with 54 catches for 721 yards and 3 touchdowns. As details become available we will relay them to you, for now it doesn't look like this will have much of an impact on the Gators when they come to Kroger Field on September 23rd.
