Willie Bohannon Pulls The Trigger Bohannon Is A Fierce Pass Rusher Off The Edge Defensive coordinator Steve Brown is beginning to stock pile strong, fast, and athletic football players all over his defensive depth chart. Blount, AL defensive end and pass rushing stud Willie Bohannon will likely grab a spot among those names in the near future. Bohannon gave his pledge to the Wildcats on Friday after several months of being courted with major priority by the Kentucky coaching staff. Kudos to coach Brown for his dominant effort in landing one of the top names on UK's recruiting list for the 2008 class. Willie Bohannon has a motor that just keeps running at high speed, notable by his relentless  pressuring of the quarterback as he tallied 42 sacks in his high school career. Pearl-Cohn Sends The Cats Another Johnson Was A Big Target For UK Commit Deaunte Mason The Cats have invested a lot of time at Pearl-Cohen high school in Nashville, TN on the recruiting trail. First Joker Phillips snagged dual threat QB Deaunte Mason, and now Steve Ortmayer has picked up a verbal from low profile OLB William Johnson (6'3 195). Johnson projects at outside linebacker for the Cats on defense, although it shouldn't be ruled out that he could be implemented somewhere on the offensive side, as he has great hands and nice speed as he totaled 12 touchdown reception's as a senior. Florida State= Texas State Fightin' Armadillos "You want to try to play Iron Man Football?" If you are a sports movie fanatic, and see it that you are logged onto Kentucky Sports Radio I am sure you are, Necessary Roughness is one of the greatest goofiest sports movies ever made. After a cheating scandal left the program with only seventeen players, the Fightin' Armadillos chose to play 'iron man football' or in Lehman's terms, players played both ways(offense and defense). With the Florida State Seminoles now without THIRTY SIX players who are either injured or suspended for the Music City bowl, who knows what we might see on New Years Eve in Nashville. Whatever it maybe, lets just hope it is not Scott Bakula firing passes to Duane 'featherstone' Davis. Now Kathy Ireland booting field goals? Now that is a different story my friends.
