Haines, who was a redshirt senior shooting guard on the 2019-20 Kentucky Women's Basketball team, announced earlier on Monday that she has signed her first professional contract and will head to Serbia in the next two days. https://twitter.com/sabrinahaines/status/1297951037584621569 Haines only spent one season in Lexington after transferring from Arizona State and sitting out one year due to the NCAA's transfer rules. However, her impact on and of the floor as a Wildcat will be remembered for years to come. Haines was the only member of last season's team to play and start in all 30 games, finishing second on the roster in minutes behind rising star Rhyne Howard.  Her best attribute was as a clutch shot-maker. Time after time, Haines hit big shots when Kentucky needed them the most. She was arguably the most efficient 3-pointer shooter, making exactly 40 percent of her 140 attempts from beyond the arc. Haines finished her lone season at Kentucky averaging 9.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. You would have been hard-pressed to find a situation where Haines wasn't cheering on her teammates or pumping herself up. She was her own personal hype woman and it became contagious to the rest of the squad. That attitude transitioned to off the court, as she was eager to talk to others and share a smile. Best of luck to Sabrina!
