Two days after departing from an official visit in Lexington, four-star JUCO offensive lineman Jeremy Flax committed to Kentucky. Texas Tech and Auburn were once thought to be the leaders in Flax's recruitment, but Mark Stoops' staff pulled out all of the stops on Flax's official visit to secure the commitment. https://twitter.com/FlaxNotFlex/status/1207073711947472896 Originally from Steve Clinkscale's recruiting territory in Dearborn Heights, Mi., Flax spent the last two years at Independence C.C. in Kansas, the same school where Jason Brown gained fame on Last Chance U. Flax will have three seasons of eligibility at Kentucky. Stoops and Clink pulled out all of the stops to secure the commitment from Flax. https://twitter.com/JEdwarCBS/status/1207074732937555974 One of the top five JUCO offensive linemen in all of the recruiting services, Flax is the second-ranked offensive tackle in the 247 Composite rankings and the No. 38 player overall. The 6'6" 320-pounder earned First Team All-American honors from the National Junior College Athletic Association in 2019. A player that absolutely manhandled opponents at Indy, Flax could work his way into the rotation on next year's offensive line, whether at guard or tackle. Enjoy some of his best work. The second four-star addition of the day gives John Schlarman five offensive linemen in the 2020 recruiting class. Ten of UK's 18 commitments are four-star prospects or better in at least one recruiting service. Take a look at Kentucky's top 25 class as we wait for Joel Williams' announcement. [table id=374 /]
