I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but Kentucky football could kick off the year 2020 with another Citrus Bowl bid and a four-star homegrown recruit.

Okay so maybe I’m getting ahead of myself with visualizing another January bowl game, but the Cats very well could add that four-star safety.

Vito Tisdale, 2020’s No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Kentucky, announced via Twitter on Sunday that he will announce his decision at the All American Bowl on Jan. 4.

The Crystal Ball from 24/7 Sports has the Wildcats at 70 percent with Lousiville (20 percent) and Oklahoma (10 percent) trailing behind. Back in May, Kentucky was already the trendy pick for Tisdale and that wave was continued since then. With a decision date now looming, the chances are looking good for the Cats.

The All American Bowl is an event in San Antonio, Texas that showcases the top high school football talent from across the country with teams split up by eastern and western regions of the country. It will be broadcast on NBC at 1 p.m.

Tisdale currently attends Bowling Green high school and is ranked as the 24th best safety in the country.
