Cancer Sucks. Period.

Dick Vitale tweeted out a picture of Coach Calipari who is currently attending Vitale’s gala which supports the V Foundation. The foundation does important work in raising money for pediatric cancer research.   Blake Hundley, the 9-year-old cancer patient who befriended Willie Cauley-Stein this year, lost his battle with cancer today. Willie has called Hundley his inspiration and has spent a great deal of time with his young fan, including a trip to Shelbyville to hang out in Hundley’s treehouse. Hundley was able to fulfill one of his dreams this year when he attended this year’s Final Four in Indianapolis and cheered on his favorite player and friend, Willie. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hundley family.   [caption id="attachment_158132" align="aligncenter" width="394"]Photo by Ron Hoskins/NBAE via Getty Images, ESPN.com Photo by Ron Hoskins/NBAE via Getty Images, ESPN.com[/caption]

Despite the injury, Wall still led the Wizards with a double-double with 20 points and 13 assists.

While Aaron Harrison’s performance in the NBA Draft Combine might have been less than spectacular, his brother Andrew has experts saying his draft stock may have improved. The New York Knicks have met with former Wildcats Trey Lyles and Willie Cauley-Stein. The Sacramento Bee has reported that Willie also met with the Sacramento Kings today.
