According to the Clarion-Ledger, Gary Henderson is nearing a deal to join John Cohen's staff at Mississippi State as pitching coach. Henderson held the same position when Cohen was the coach at Kentucky from 2004-2008. Henderson resigned on June 1 after eight seasons. He leaves UK with a 258-199 record, which includes two NCAA Tournament appearances (2012, 2014). [Clarion-Ledger]
