terrell mitchell An odd situation has arisen with Powder Springs, Georgia Tight End Terrell Mitchell, a 3 star athlete that the Cats are heavily recruiting. Jim Tirey of the Cats Pause reported in a story last night that the Cats were fending off two other schools (Georgia and Clemson) for Mitchell's services, but the Cats were the current leader. The headline for the article was a bit unclear, but Tirey's report was just about his decision process (he visits Clemson and Georgia over the next couple of weeks). Then Kentucky Sports Report had one of its writers write about a breakdown of the ability of "Kentucky's newest commitment." Does that mean Mitchell has committed? I havent seen one article suggesting that and it could have just been a guess from the TCP headline. So now we have conflicting information....best guess from my end....Mitchell is leaning UK but still has to visit his home state school. He has not committed but is an important potential piece of what could be a strong UK recruiting class. Stay tuned.....
