[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="500"] When an IU fan brings up the game[/caption] -Nick linked Kyle Tucker's posts on the '96 National Championship last night but it's some solid work so here's the linkto the funniest moments that the title team shared. Here's my personal favorite from Antoine Walker:
“We used to wrestle all the time. I’m pretty sure you might’ve heard that from somebody else, but that’s the one thing that jumps out to me. We split the team up into younger guys versus older guys. You could be walking through the Wildcat Lodge, two young guys walking with an older guy, and you just grab them and put them in a garbage can. It was funny, because at the time, Nazr was a little overweight, and it used to take like three guys to put Nazr in the trash. But that was our whole thing, and that’s what made it fun.”
Back in 1996 wrestling was a cultural phenomenon so it makes sense that two of the stories involve the squared circle. Speaking of wrestling.... -Tonight is WrestleMania! The thirty-second installment of the showcase of the immortals features Shane McMahon taking on the Undertaker, Dean Ambrose in a street fight with Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns Vs Triple H for the WWE championship. Who a got? -Almost one year ago, Kentucky student and media member Jonathan Krueger's life was cut tragically short. Mark Story takes a look back at Krueger's trip to last year's Final Four and his impact he had on a co-worker. -The Kentucky Wildcats baseball team has a showdown with Louiville later this week. John Hale of the Courier-Journal caught up with Valerie Hairston, whose sons will face off for the third time, on what the game means to their family.

Brothers Dorian and Devin Hairston have brought new meaning to the Civil War analogies so often used to describe sports rivalries: Dorian is a senior outfielder for the Wildcats, Devin a sophomore shortstop for the Cardinals.

For the Hairstons the rivalry truly is brother versus brother, but their mother, Valerie, makes it clear the Hairston home is far from divided.

-Okay, its time for me to admit that Villanova is legit. ICYMI the Wildcats dominated Oklahoma in the most lopsided victory in the history of the final four. Nova holds down the top spot in the KenPom ratings and has dominated three top 15 teams (8 Oklahoma, 4 Kansas, and 13 Miami) to reach the national championship. Goliath has been wearing David's clothes this entire time.
