On a day where things were looking dreary, something positive now comes up. Multiple sources are reporting that
Cincinnati, Ohio Tight End Alex Smith will sign with UK tomorrow, ending a long process in which the Cats have worked very hard. Smith was originally a UNC commitment, but the Cats have worked hard and he visited Lexington last weekend. He is a 3/4 star recruit, but is ranked as the #11 TE in America and is a kid the staff really wanted.
This is a good get and one that should make some of the negative nancies smile a bit on this day before Signing Day.
