UK announced on Friday that they will be having a second "Elite Camp" on Wednesday of this coming week. Here is the announcement:
The UK basketball program will host an elite camp on Wednesday, Aug. 6 as announced by the basketball office on Friday.
The camp, which will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m., has limited enrollment due to space issues. For more information interested campers can call 859.257.1916
I have to tell you that I love this. Elite Camps, which are the new way to have recruits on campus within the rules, are sprouting up everywhere and Daniel Orton and others have been going to them in the past week. So late this week, UK decides to have one next week, certainly to help get these guys on campus again. You gotta love Clyde....aggressive recruiting within the rules....good stuff....
