Greenwood and Richardson competing for a starting position
Lamar Thomas said he smiles when he thinks about Jabari Greenwood and Tavin Richardson, two of his wide receivers who will see the field for the first time this year.
Greenwood and Richardson redshirted last year, and Thomas believes that has them in the perfect spot heading into the season under his direction.
“The thing I told them when I got here: ‘You couldn’t ask for a better situation. You redshirted and now you coming in and you’re even with everybody else,'” Thomas said. “They’re right there in the mix of things competing for a starting position.”
