It is halftime and your University of Kentucky Wildcats lead the Tennessee Volunteers 17-7.

Fourteen of Kentucky’s points came off turnovers, with Kelvin Joseph earning back his Bossman Fat nickname with a 41-yard interception returned for a touchdown, followed by a Jamin Davis 85-yard pick six. Kentucky had a chance to go up 21-0, but Keaton Upshaw dropped a touchdown pass and a Matt Ruffolo 30-yard field goal made it 17-0. On the next drive, Quinton Bohanna went down with an injury and had to leave the game and Tennessee scored off a four-yard run by Ty Chandler. According to UK, Bohanna is doubtful to return.

Bohanna’s injury and Tennessee’s TD certainly felt like a momentum swing going into halftime, but let’s give it to Kentucky’s secondary. After not getting a single turnover in the first two games, the defense has TEN over the past six quarters, nine interceptions and one fumble recovery. Three of those were pick sixes. That’s how you answer the bell.
