HALFTIME: Kentucky tied with Ole Miss 32-32 at the break

Both teams are missing their lead guards, with Kentucky declaring Cason Wallace out with a knee contusion prior to tip-off and Sahvir Wheeler going down with a right ankle sprain before half. As for Ole Miss, the team’s two leading scorers, Matthew Murrell (knee) and Daeshun Ruffin (personal), were both declared out leading up to the matchup, as well.

It’s resulted in a chaotic first half down in Oxford, with the Wildcats and Rebels tied up at 32-32 through 20 minutes of action.

Antonio Reeves leads Kentucky with nine points on 3-4 shooting from three with two rebounds, followed by Jacob Toppin with six points (3-8 FG), three assists and one rebound, Oscar Tshiebwe with five points and six rebounds and Daimion Collins and Chris Livingston with four points apiece.

As a team, the Wildcats are shooting 44% from the field (11-25), 50% from three (3-6) and 63.6% from the line (7-11). The Rebels — led by Amaree Abram with 11 points and TJ Caldwell with nine — are shooting 43.8% from the field (14-32), 25% from three (2-8) and 100% from the line (2-2).

Ole Miss is winning the rebounding battle (17-16) and has more points in the paint (16-12), assists (11-9) and points off turnovers (5-0), but Kentucky has almost triple the bench points (15-6) and led for over 11 minutes compared to 5:44 for the opposition (three minutes tied).
