Today is June 1, the first day of what we here at KSR are calling Jamal Murray Month. The five-star guard out of Canada is expected to make a decision about his future in the next 30 days and Big Blue Nation is hungry for some good news on the recruiting front. Think about it: When is the last time we've gone this long without hearing of a new huge commitment?
Murray is taking his time with things (obviously) and it seems he's down to either playing another season of high school basketball or joining Kentucky next season. Oregon is also in the mix, but the cancelation of his visit to Eugene over the weekend is a good sign for UK.
Unfortunately there is no real timetable for his recruitment, but it will be some time this month when he makes up his mind. So let's all raise our Monday coffees to June and, hopefully, the final piece in Kentucky's 2015-16 basketball roster.
