Happy Trails, Alex Legion
One of the great pieces of comedy from the Billy Gillispie Experiment has encountered some troubles again and is now scooting his way out of his third and final school. Son of a Prophet Alex Legion has been dismissed from FIU’s team by head coach Isiah Thomas, who isn’t exactly known to run his organizations with an iron fist. The collegiate career of Legion, a former Parade All-American and the man who labeled Bruce Weber as “The Dream Killer”, now ends with his six-game stretch as a Wildcat finishing as some of his most productive work as an amateur.
