With the induction of Cal to the basketball hall of fame, a huge win for the Cats last night, and today's UNC vs UK alumni game it's a weekend of celebration for all things Kentucky. As such we can now celebrate the group of baby blue bums that are about to get run off the floor by the Big Blue All-Stars in today's game. On Friday night Scout released the finalized North Carolina roster and hereit is for your viewing pleasure: Harrison Barnes (1-2) The Taheels captain may have outbarked his bite now that he has his full team. This could get ugly. James Michael McAdoo (1-1) Mcadoo is Barnes' teammate on the Golden State Warriors so it would've been awkward at practice if he didn't get an invite. Otherwise I don't know why he ends up playing in this game except he's UNC's only other active NBA player besides Barnes. Rasheed Wallace (1-0) Rasheed faced the Cats in the 1995 elite eight where we went for 12 points and 3 rebounds. Wallace is currently the NBA's all-time leader in technical fouls and will have to D up DeMarcus Cousins. That could be explosive. Jerry Stackhouse (1-0) Stackhouse had a great NBA career and he was also on that 95 team with Rasheed Wallace so he's a solid pickup for the Tarheels. It's just too bad John Wall can't play today so we could see more of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPHWKDY0PTk The rest of the roster begins to scrape the bottom of the barrel of dudes who probably need the money: Shammond Williams (0-0) According to Wikipedia, Williams is a cousin of Kevin Garnett. That's about the most notable thing about him. Wes Miller (2-0) Former UNC walk-on who is now the head ball coach at UNC Greensboro. Wes has a great story of finding success despite being undersized, he's going to have a hard time stopping Eric Bledsoe. Bobby Frasor (4-0) Frasor was a member of the last great era of UNC athletics before Coach Cal joined forces with Kentucky and changed college basketball.  Time to avenge all those losses. Dexter Strickland (1-3) Dexter is a contemporary of many of the Cal era players who has spent the majority of his time playing in the D-League. Leslie McDonald (1-3) Another D-Leaguer who will have a hard time going up against the NBA's elite. This is going to be a fun day in Rupp Arena.   The Kentucky guys need no introduction, they are: Willie Cauley-Stein, Devin Booker, James Young, The Harrison Twins, Eric Bledsoe, Terrence Jones, Karl-Anthony Towns, DeMarcus Cousins, Trey Lyles, and Dakari Johnson. Fun! The game tips at 5:30 and we'll get the live blog going around 5:15.
