Hey Steve Brown, how about me, you and your tiny mustache talk some stats?

As we continue to ease ourselves into getting back to talking about yesterday, we're going to just dip our toes into the water a little bit and get comfortable with some statistics, updated to include yesterday's games.  Kentucky's offense, not surprisingly, is still putting up statistically impressive numbers and ranks in the top tier of the SEC through five games.  The defense, on the other hand, umm...well, it's actually not as bad as you might think.  We're #1 in passing defense which either means we're playing great in that aspect or the game or everyone has pretty much decided they don't even need to bother with that nonsense when they can just cram it down our throat. Also, the Cats are currently 29th in the NCAA in yards allowed and 88th in scoring defense.  Too many stupid turnovers!  Man, this is a complicated game.  Anyway, enjoy!  I'll be back shortly for some slightly more in-depth football talk. *SEC leaders listed and rankings are conference only QB Rating 1st - Cameron Newton, Auburn (191.4)  8th - Mike Hartline (140.7) Passing Yards 1st - Ryan Mallett, Arkansas (1438) 2nd - Mike Hartline (1222) Completion Percentage 1st - Greg McElroy, Alabama (69.9%) 5th - Mike Hartline (63.8%) Touchdown Passes 1st - Cameron Newton, Auburn (12) T-4th - Mike Hartline (8) Rushing Yards 1st - Stevan Ridley, LSU (557) 2nd - Derrick Locke (543) 30th - Randall Cobb (121) 36th - Donald Russell (92) 37th - Raymond Sanders (86) Rushing Touchdowns 1st - Vick Ballard, Miss.
