by:Kelsey Mattingly06/06/15
american pharaoh congrats American Pharoah ended the 37 year Triple Crown with his win today at the Belmont Stakes. He's the second wire to wire Belmont Stakes winner in the last 30 years and he certainly ran away with this one. Leading after the first 100 yards, American Pharoah pulled away at the last turn and has joined in the ranks of race horses that will go down in history as the greatest. This was the first Triple Crown win for jockey Victor Espinoza who is also the oldest jockey to have ever won the Triple Crown. This was a long time coming for trainer Bob Bafford, who is celebrating his first Triple Crown win tonight as well. Congratulations American Pharoah! And who better to celebrate the Triple Crown win with trainer Bob Baffert than the Burger King himself!? Burger King Guy
