If the SEC Tournament started today...

SECbracket030613 Last night's SEC results gave the Cats' hopes of getting a #2 seed in the SEC Tournament a much-needed boost. Kentucky now sits alone at second in the SEC standings, in front of Missouri, Alabama and Ole Miss. If the Cats win out or beat Georgia, the #2 seed is theirs. If they lose to Georgia, there will be a four-way tie for second between Kentucky/Missouri/Alabama/Ole Miss and Kentucky would get the #2 seed because it has the best record against the other three (UK is 2-1, Missouri 2-2, Ole Miss 2-2, Alabama 1-2). The same goes for a three-way tie. If there's a two-way tie for second between Kentucky and Ole Miss or Kentucky and Missouri, the Cats would win the tiebreaker as well. In fact, the only way the Cats don't get the two-seed at this point is if they are tied at second with Alabama, who obviously has the upperhand over the Cats, but that seems unlikely right now. Yet, as we've learned in the past few weeks, anything can happen in the SEC. Here are tonight's SEC games: Mississippi State at South Carolina Vanderbilt at Florida LSU at Texas A&M Tennessee at Auburn I don't know about you, but the early game on Friday night against Vandy/Arkansas sounds a heck of a lot better than the late game against what will probably end up being Tennessee. #BeatGeorgia
