Often times, we just sit around here at the KSR compound and make up news stories when there is nothing breaking, particularly when there is an opposing fan base running around and talking smack during game week. Other times, we just latch onto minuscule news stories and run with them just for an excuse to poke a little fun or get the comment section involved in some comedic action. Consider I just took a final and I've got nothing new to report, this point is a prime example. Let's have a little fun with this.
As of December 6th, 2011, the domain ".xxx" became generally available as a voluntary option for adult entertainment sites, specifically to avoid confusion. You guys all remember the WhiteHouse.com vs. WhiteHouse.gov ordeal, right? Because of that, and in what will be a common activity for all different sorts of organization in the near future,
Indiana University is buying up 11 different .XXX domain names to protect the good name and reputation of IU (and its trademarks). Wait...what good reputation? Either way, this isn't really newsworthy, but it opens the door for a little fun. Let's play a little game where we try to guess the different names IU could be buying up.
