Kentucky began the game with Terry Wilson on the sideline in street clothes beneath his No. 3 jersey, and he was soon joined by the other No. 3, cornerback Cedrick Dort, who started and then needed a boot over his right ankle before halftime. Dort was the first of four concerning injuries against the Bulldogs. Luke Fortner, DeAndre Square and then Kenneth Horsey would join him with trips to locker room to get checked out. Mark Stoops said afterward, "We got three ankles and a knee. Cedrick Dort, Luke, Kenneth Horsey and Square got different things. I think Horsey has the knee and then three ankles, so we'll see how bad they are later on tonight and tomorrow. "Hopefully they won't be out too long. I'm not sure at this point."
