Isaiah Briscoe already has beef with future Louisville Cardinal

It sure didn't take Isaiah Briscoe long to pick up a rivalry with Donovan Mitchell, a current Louisville signee. The beef started when Mitchell, a four-star shooting guard in the class, shared a video on social media of Briscoe stopping an interview to ask, "What's an adjective?" (Not a good look for Briscoe by the way.) Briscoe responded with a flurry of Instagram posts (that have since been deleted) directed at Mitchell and his high school teammate, UConn signee Jalen Adams. First, Briscoe called Adams and Mitchell's Brewster Academy backcourt "corny." He tagged Antonion Blakeney and Dwayne Bacon in the post because they're on Briscoe's side of the fight, apparently. I know as much about this as you do. Briscoe also made fun of Mitchell's outfit in this photo: Florida State signee Dwayne Bacon shared a photo with Briscoe and Blakeney at the McDonald's All-American game and asked Adams and Mitchell, "Where was y'all?" Answer: They weren't invited. Strong burn.   Now, allow me to break this down real quick... First of all, I'm too old for this. The fact that I'm even sharing it makes me feel like I'm commentating a food fight in a high school cafeteria. These are kids being kids without realizing the spotlight they're under and that they will soon be held to a much higher standard than their peers in college. This won't fly once they arrive on campus. However, a very tiny part of me likes that Briscoe has already formed a hatred for a Louisville Cardinal. He looks really petty and immature in how he responded to Mitchell's first jab, but I do like that they've already adopted the rivalry. It's always good to know the players despise each other as much as the fans. This should make for a pretty good storyline entering that game next December. #TeamBriscoe
