After rumors swirled around this morning,
the news that redshirt freshman running back Justin Taylor will transfer have been confirmed. While UK wouldn't confirm whether or not he would transfer to South Carolina State, as TigerIllustrated.com's Ryan Bartow said this morning, they did say that Taylor asked for and was granted a release.
The news shouldn't come as a shock, since Taylor had a rough spring in which he wound up at the end of the depth chart, and that's before 4-star running back JoJo Kemp comes to campus this summer. Mark Stoops issued the following statement about Taylor's transfer: "We appreciate Justin’s efforts and wish him the best as he continues his career."
