It was officially announced today that the football Cats are heading to the Autozone Liberty Bowl to take on the 9-4 East Carolina Pirates. The game will take place on Friday, January 2nd in Memphis and will mark the 50th anniversary of the game, but the first trip there for the Cats. Rich Brooks, however, isn't new to the game. He was a freshman defensive back at Oregon in the second Liberty Bowl ever in 1960.
