Ivana Jakubcova Transferring Out of UK Hoops Program

News came out today that UK Hoops senior, Ivana Jakubcova will transfer out of the program for her final year of eligibility. Coach Matthew Mitchell has granted her a full release.
“Ivana has made the decision that it’s best for her to leave our program and finish her collegiate career elsewhere,” Mitchell said. “We support her in this decision and wish her well on and off the court.”
Ivana spent two seasons at Kentucky after transferring from Murray State JC in Oklahoma. She will graduate from UK in May with a degree in Psychology and will further her education as a graduate transfer at her new home. Jakubcova started once this season and played 24 games, averaging 1.1 points and 1.1. rebounds.
Ivana took some time to thank the BBN and bid Kentucky goodbye on twitter this afternoon:
