Justin Albers covers Indiana basketball recruiting for AllHoosiers.com and reported via Twitter that James Blackmon Jr. could be nearing a decision sometime this week. Blackmon Jr. has long been considered a favorite to land with Kentucky in the 2014 recruiting class, but Indiana has made a late push for the sharp shooting guard who was once a Hoosier commit.
Indiana had a scrimmage this weekend against USI (Southern Indiana). Blackmon Jr. did not attend the game according to Albers. Blackmon was in Bloomington this weekend though for a visit, but left in the afternoon.
