Jay Wright
Well if you believe “friend of a friend” message board posts and articles in the New York Post, it seems that Tubby Smith leaving for the Charlotte Bobcats is all but set and that Jay Wright of Villanova will be the new Kentucky coach. I claim no knowledge on either point (although I do know that there has been at least some talk on the Bobcats end of the possibility of Bickerstaff moving back upstairs and a huge offer being made to Tubby), but the Wright rumors are odd to me. Wright has had some NCAA trouble while at Villanova and has, as of yet, won nothing. But then again, when it comes to rumors and the hopes of avid Tubby haters, nothing, not even logic, can stand in their way.
But we will try and learn more about the handsome Villanova coach….he may be the future….
