The former UK product is making an incredible 2nd round charge at the PGA Championship in Wisconsin, jumping 41 spots in the standings over the course of the round. He now sits in 3rd place, just 2 strokes behind Matt Kuchar.
Remember that Holmes led the PGA Championship going into the final round just 2 years ago. He knows what it will take and the kind of pressure he will face this weekend. It's something that Kuchar has not experienced, finishing no higher than 6th in a major. 2nd place golfer Nick Watney has never finished higher than 7th.
