In the Lynx's third game of the season, O'Neill reached double digits in scoring for the first time this season. O'Neill has 12 points and three assists in Minnesota's 94-70 win over the Seattle Storm. O'Neill went 3-for-4 from the field, including 2-for-2 from the three-point line. O'Neill also went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. According to the Minnesota Lynx website, the play of the game came with 3:07 left in the third quarter. O'Neill drove to the basket, blowing past her defender, and dished the ball off to her teammate for an easy layup after attracting her teammates' defender.
This was a possession after O’Neill was blocked and Reeve was ready to sub in Seimone Augustus. Good confidence from the rookie point guard.
Minnesota is now a perfect 3-0 on the season. You can check out O'Neill and the Lynx in their next game tomorrow at 3:00pm ET on ESPN 2.
