Sad news from the Middle East this morning: Joe Crawford tore a knee tendon during a game for Israel's Maccabi Rishon on Sunday and is expected to be out 4-6 months. This is a major setback for Crawford, who has had an excellent season for Maccabi Rishon so far, leading the team in scoring with 19.3 points per game, along with 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. The injury couldn't have come at a worse time, as Crawford's stellar play had several NBA and high-level European pro teams interested. Best of luck to Crawford in his recovery. I hear Ramel Bradley is a great nurse.
