While some of us are still mourning last night's loss, there's a ray of sunshine starting to come over BBN.
Sources from ESPN have confirmed that John Calipari will be elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
In order to become elected, a candidate must receive 18 of 24 votes from the Honors committee. Coach Cal received the 18 votes necessary to officially be inducted later this year. An official announcement will be made Monday morning in Indy. The induction ceremony will take place this September.
If that's not good enough,
Wisconsin's Bo Ryan failed to receive the 18 votes needed.
