While recruiting in the New York City, John Calipari dropped by the Knicks’ practice. As you can see in this picture from Ian Begley, Cal is chatting it up with Knicks president Steve Mills, general manager Scott Perry, and head coach David Fizdale.

Before you start freaking out about Cal going to the Knicks and lighting your replica of his lifetime contract on fire, remember that both Julius Randle and Kevin Knox are on the roster, so it’s probably just a friendly visit. The real reason Cal is in town is to see 2021 five-star small forward AJ Griffin, who plays for Archbishop Stepinac and the PSA Cardinals.

First off, I refuse to believe that kid is actually in high school. He looks at least 35 years old. Secondly, steakhouses of New York City, you have been warned. Calipari is on the way.
