John Wall: Player of the Year?

by:Thomas Beisner12/13/09
varner-santa1Even Santa loves John Wall. He's become, without a doubt, the National Photoshop Player of the Year at this point and cemented himself as an absolute lock for the top spot in the NBA Draft. Now, barely in December (which is insanely early), the college basketball minds of the world can start to think about whether or not John Wall is the National Player of the Year. Gary Parrish and Jeff Goodman already found salvation with Blue Jesus by picking him as their POY in the pre-season. The SEC Media, though, thought he was a Second Team performer. So, where does Wall's stock place him right now? Here are a few players who will factor heavily into All-American conversations at the end of the year. They have the stats, for sure, but some of them might not find the team success to land as a Player of the Year. Wall seems to be in the right position to be a leader at the moment given both his individual and team performances. Take a look.
