Joker Finally Gets Some Good News

by:Will Lentz01/13/11

It’s been a rough week for Joker, first losing the bowl game, then his bff Randall Cobb, so it’s about time he got some good news.  Reports are trickling in that Georgia RB Marcus Caffey has switched his commitment from Purdue to the Cats, and given the week of bad publicity for Kentucky, it’s a pretty huge get.  Caffey is more of a power running back (though a small one for that,) than a speed one, but with the graduation of Moncell Allen and the departure of Donald Russell, Kentucky could certainly use one. Both Rivals and Scout rank Caffey as a three star, but most importantly?  Wesley Woodyard thinks he’s awesome.

Per Woodyard’s twitter:

Georgia RBs committed to Kentucky and i must say i watched both of em on film Marcus Caffey and Josh Clemons can b the nxt rb tandem n SEC

Go Cats.

The future looks bright.
