Jones & Bruce's Monday News and Views

jones_bruce_phone3.jpg Today is a big day for us and not just because Jared Lorenzen led the New York Giants to a Super Bowl title. Today I am fortunate enough to open the new Jones & Bruce law firm with my law partner Johnny Bruce. Since we made this decision a few months ago, it has taken more work than I could have ever imagined to get to this point, but now we are here and I am very excited. Our firm is a general practice firm and we look forward to opening today. We have an office in Eastern Kentucky, one in Western Kentucky and our central location here in Louisville for the Louisville/Lexington area. I want to thank all those who have helped make this happen, from my wonderful family and friends to those who I have worked with over the years. We are very excited about this opportunity and hope that you will remember us if you have any legal needs. The phone number is 502-456-0400 and feel free to give us a call for any legal or other reason. It is an exciting day and I am excited to have those of you who have supported this blog over the years be a part of it. As you can imagine, today is hectic so here are a few short notes from the weekend..... -- Billy Gillispie was in Richmond this weekend for the Class A Tournament to see Scotty Hopson play.....showcasing that the recruitment may be on, at least from a Kentucky perspective. -- Joe Crawford received treatment all day yesterday for the foot injury and cramping he suffered on Saturday. He is questionable for Wednesday, although the team does expect to have Meeks back. No word yet on Ramel. -- The football coaches (Rich Brooks and Joker) were at Bryan Station on Saturday to see Terrell Combs, the wide receiver for the Defenders. Combs told the Cats pause he was solid with his commitment to Minnesota, but in the football recruiting world, you never know. -- I could be wrong, but it sure looked like Mitch Barnhardt sitting in the luxury box with Peyton Manning last night.... More later today on an exciting day around these parts....
