[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="531"] (David's the one on the left)[/caption] You're looking at Jonny David, a 6'2", 175 lbs. point guard from Pittsburgh who has just accepted a walk-on spot at Kentucky, according to the Herald-Leader's Ben Roberts. What's his connection to Kentucky? Jonny's father Joe played for Pitt 30 years ago when John Calipari was an assistant coach. The two have remained close friends. Last season, Jonny averaged 18.5 points per game for Mount Lebanon and passed up several Division I scholarship offers to walk-on for the Cats. His father sees him playing a Jarrod Polson-type role for Kentucky:
"He's someone that I think can aspire to be a Jarrod Polson-type player for Coach Cal," said Joe David. "He's a team guy. He's willing to work hard and do whatever he needs to do to help the team out.
