If the NBA winds up canceling its season, remember who your new favorite pro league to cheer for is. Former Kentucky Wildcat Josh Harrellson has agreed to resign with his Japanese B.League team, Osaka Evessa, according to his Twitter account and a release put out by the team. https://twitter.com/BigJorts55/status/1257512944440573952 "We are pleased to announce that Osaka Evessa has reached a basic agreement with Josh Harrelson for the 2020-21 season." read a statement from the team's website. In 36 games for Osaka Evessa this past season, Jorts was a regular starter as he put up averages of 19.8 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. Harrellson shot 47.9 percent from the floor, an impressive 39.3 percent from deep on 191 attempts, and converted on 64.7 percent of his free-throw attempts. His best outing was a 37-point, 19-rebound performance back in early February. It's been an adventurous career for the BBN fan-favorite ever since he left Lexington, making stops in the NBA with the Knicks, Heat, and Pistons along with traveling across the world to places such as China and Latvia. He's been with Osaka Evessa two different times, starting in 2016, and was even named the "Block King" (yes, the Block KING) during the 2016-17 season in addition to being named the "Rebound King" a bit later in 2018-19. So not only is he a king of Kentucky, he's a king of many things. https://twitter.com/BigJorts55/status/1257677676195860481 Harrellson's team was also hit hard by COVID-19, with several players testing positive for the coronavirus back in early April. Although none of the names were released. Oh, and just so you didn't forget... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg9QEtvxdq4
